MARION

Marion, ascendant heartrocker,
was born on November 28th 1964 in Munich.
She grew up in Seeshaupt at the Starnberger Lake where she decided as three-year old to become a dancer.

The heart was at the right place, but her passion for dance had to be shared with many other passion in her earlier years.

Fashion, for example. After school she went

to Johannesburg/South Africa, where she went to fashion school. She moved on to doing her tailor  apprenticeship back in Munich and spent her

years learning the craft of a dressmaker in Paris. 

She finally did her examination for the master

craftsman in Munich.

​

In the years of 1990 to 2000 Marion worked as

costume designer in different theatres and for the Bavarian TV, where she made the costumes for

the legendary „Nockherberg“ for 13 years.

​

​

Through all this, dance was always part of her life, especially of her nightlife – with Salsa and Freedance
she swept over the dancefloors and was ever fascinated by the magical energy dancing triggered in her:

„Dancing is for me like a life-elixir!“  

​

Anyhow, some of the nights in the 90’s were also shortened for Marion since she gave birth to her daughter Marie.

 

Together with her, the joy of movement continued: horse riding, snowboarding, scuba diving, traveling
and always returning to dance. When Marie left home to start into the world in 2011,
Marion started to look for new challenges.

Combining her favourite movement kind with her interest for healing movement forms made sense.
For 16 years Marion took regular Pilates lessons, enjoyed ostheopathy and invested in a variety of healing notions and techniques.

All these elements she experienced as pleasureable, strengthening and healing she wanted to thread together and give on to others. 

​

In the same year she gave her love for dance a new framework.

For Marion everything she engaged with ran together in dancing.

The body in its anatomy – from the measuring tape to movement.

​

SKYGREEN exists since 2014, a place of movement and meeting, in which Marion wants to share joy and energy with others.
